An unintelligent space slug can not possibly create a huge and complex universe with intelligent life in it.
(Don't get excited Pinky, I didn't say that you are intelligent Smile )

Have you ever seen a donkey give birth to a human being?
So a slug will give birth to a similar slug not to a human being.  Lightbulb

If someone bound you gagged you and dump you in a freight wagons it will be very hard to know where you are going but if you on your free will decide to travel to Paris then is obvious that you feel your goal within.  Lightbulb

Rik, intelligence is NOT required for evolution to occur anymore than Thor is needed as a gap answer to explain the existence of lightening. Just like you accept, and rightfully so, Poseidon is not needed as a gap answer to explain the existence of hurricanes.

The problem you have with "everything has a creator" causes the problem of infinite regress when you postulate an all powerful cognition as the factory boss. Well, if everything has a creator, then that creator has an even more infinitely complex creator, and that creator has even more complexity, and that creator even more, and so on and so on and so on.

So if you want to claim your God was not created, then the more simplistic solution to the universe is that it doesn't need a cognition to lead to it either.

But please spare us from trying to square an old book of mythology to modern science. That was then, this is now. It was understandable that people wrote, sold and bought that crap back then because they didn't know any better, we do know better now.

What would be so frightening to you to find out you are finite? How would life after you die feel any differently than you felt 4 billion years ago?

The time come into existence as soon as there is a beginning and cease or stop when that beginning end.

In this way we come to the wrong conclusion that also God if he ever exist must follow the same system.

There is a big big difference mooney between something material and something spiritual.
Dealing with material things it is very easy to see whether the goods are there or not while dealing with something spiritual you see and feel nothing with your physical senses.

In a physical sense it would be like when you go from Berlin to Paris in train.
You can't be wrong.
You feel that Paris is closer and closer. (example)

In a spiritual sense your physical senses tell you nothing but within your consciousness there is something that tell you that you are getting closer.  Lightbulb

Nope sorry, I could give a shit less which one you claim, everyone thinks they got the correct sky hero.

Get in line, take a number.

A lot of people create their own God that is why we got so many religions but God is not something external to us.
These people never get it.
They don't get it that God is within each of us.
The moon reflect his image on a lake.
According to where you look at that you can see a myriad of moons but the moon is one.
God works in the same way.
There is only one God.
Unfortunately fools think that their God is the right God and other Gods are fakes.

No, there are only humans whom desire a super hero human like with super powers. It is merely all in your head. Your desire to have a hero only resides in your brain, nowhere else. Humans make up their god/s. There is no sky wizard pulling our strings.

If you want to believe it badly enough you will sure. But wanting something to be true has never constituted evidence. Like I said, get in line take a number. Everyone thinks they got it right, so what.

So basically you're saying (my bolded) that the people who think god is 'out there' or 'like in the bible' are fakes?  You've just branded yourself a fool.

Who says he's unintelligent ? And a living thing cannot make other living things ? And why can't his sheer potential make it so ? Why must the slugs ways and means make sense to your limited mind?

Quote:Have you ever seen a donkey give birth to a human being?
No more then i see a invisible immaterial sky wizard poof people from dust.

Quote:So a slug will give birth to a similar slug not to a human being
And apparently and invisible, immaterial, immortal, Perfect being ,Simple,Formless, A temporal" Will apparently  make Visible , Material , Mortal , Imperfect ,Complex , Formed, Temporal being'

Oh and once again rick shows his ignorance of evolution.

If only it was all. This shit's going on for thirty pages, minimum.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
