No, never heard that before.

Lady, you do know the proper use of quotation marks, don't you? Apparently not. Anyway, I don't believe that black people are inherently more violent than any other group. I already gave one possible environmental explanation for the fact that blacks are more violent - single parent families. The stats bear this explanation out better than the poverty explanation, as Sowell notes.

Quote:but when someone offers you an alternative explanation your response is, "the cause is irrelevant."  It's funny that you thought you could just slide right by that one without anyone noticing.  Talk about changing the conversation to make it more palatable, lol.

At the time of the interaction with police, the cause is indeed irrelevant. If a cop shot someone who was about to shoot you, you wouldn't afterward praise the cop if the assailant turned out to be rich, but condemn the cop if the assailant was poor. That would be idiotic.

Why is a peaceful protest causing more vitriol than when someone was killed?

Nice attempt at back peddling.

"Single parent families". Hey asshole, after my father died my mom raised me as a single parent.

You are now simply trying to dodge the fact that you WERE attaching skin tone to violence.

CONDITIONS you stupid fuckface, not skin tone.

Conditions for black parents are not the same as conditions for their white counterparts.

Black dads want the same as white dads. Black moms want the same as white moms. The difference is that blacks are effected more negatively by economics and our justice system.

This is just bullshit back peddling on your part.

Brian,

A person is brandishing a gun in public.

Should the police refrain from acting if that person is living below the poverty level?

Are you just going to leave that hanging there?  What are some factors associated with single parent households, you think?

And, you know very well that no one involved in this discussion was implying that, so why frame it as such?

As it turns out...they often aren't, but they get shot anyway..and this is what's being protested.

Clear that up for you?

If the black guy just looks threatening, that seems enough for most white people to warrant shooting and killing what they perceive as a dark menace.

Because it shows that poverty is a red herring with respect to police killings.

Liberal policies as noted in the article.

You know how many Japanese police carry firearms? A very tiny minority.

You know what Japan does not have that America has? OUR PAY GAP. You know what else they don't have? They don't have a porn obsession for firearms.

This is simply another fucking dodge on your part.

I don't care what the fuck your paycheck looks like, skin tone does not dictate violence. It is not genetic. Violence is always a product of economics.

Please stop falsely accusing me of condoning crime. That is not what I am doing, that is not what the players were protecting, that is not what MLK was advocating.

Get this through your tiny pea brain skull.

POVERTY IS NOT A RACE.

POVERTY IS NOT A GENE

Poverty is a result of economic conditions.

And right now poverty affects blacks on average far more negatively than whites.

Unless or until you understand that and accept that you wont understand what we are saying.

It was a simple question. You really can't answer it?
