I wouldn't right now, I like sex a lot.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

Melania's hot.  I'd gaze past Trump's ass if I had to to see what she looks like naked.

If it was some kind of mechanism you could consciously control and turn on and off at will (like if it was a distraction in a situation where it was unwanted, I could flip a switch in my mind and have my sexual desire go on standby mode til I felt like turning it back on) then sure. But if that was the case I'd want many other kinds of things to be able to be controlled by that mechanism, like the perception of pain or the ability to fall asleep instantly for a set amount of time.
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?

There is no better way to convey the least amount of information in the greatest amount of words than to try explaining your religious views.

Just wait until you are older and it's likely to mostly go away on it's own.

Absolutely not. Sexual desire is what gets me up in the morning. So to speak.

I've lost all my sexual desire, not that I had much to begin with to be honest. My husband is jealous of me because it means that I am not distracted by thoughts of sex all the time and can be more productive. I'm generally thinking about my research when having sex. I don't miss having a sex drive because I never actually enjoyed sex at all to be honest but it would be nice to have an orgasm at least once in my life just to experience it.

Your level of enjoyment of something can closely correlate with your level of hunger for it. So while I would enjoy sex a lot more if I had a sex drive, it would also mean having a hunger or need for it. One balance out the other so at the end of the day it's just easier to do without. In the same way I'd prefer not to wear uncomfortabe shoes all day just to have the moment when I can take them off.

If there were a god, he would have given us this built-in if he expected us not to lust.

RE: Would you get rid of your sexual desire if you could?
Yes I would 100% get rid of my sexual desire if I could.

But only because I can't find anyone to share it with.... and the amount of times I have to share it with myself is such a gigantic time suck that I barely have time to do any daily chores or even get out much. I'd be 10000000000% more productive if I wasn't quite literally a massive wanker.

If I could find someone to share my sex drive with and actually have a sex life, or even a girlfriend, then there is NO WAY IN A MILLION YEARS I'd get rid of my sexual desire.

Nope.

They indeed can.
