19 can still be considered a teenager. Adulthood doesn't arrive until 20, despite the common law of 18.

Yeah. I was a teenager when I joined. Although I turned 20 a month later.. But I'm 29 now.

Over here adulthood is 18. Young adulthood is 16. You can go to the army and have sex at 16 here. But you can't drink beer.

???

Yeah you can get yourself shot in the face but you can't drink beer.
