The Coffee Questionaire

RE: The Coffee Questionaire
I freaking love coffee.

I also freaking love alcohol.

They seem to both be good for mood regulation for me. But in opposite ways.

I've noticed that, too. Wink

RE: The Coffee Questionaire
Quote:1. Do you make your coffee at home (skip to #5) or does a barista make it for you (go on to #2)?

Wait.  You can get a lawyer to make you coffee?  I didn't think those assholes did anything.  Nonetheless, I make my own.

5. What brand of coffee do you normally buy?

Jamaican Blue Mountain Blend from Sprout's

6. How many cups (how big are these cups) of coffee do you normally consume on an average day?

Two huge ones.

7. What do you add to your coffee?

Milk
8. Do you drink water during or after your coffee?

Coffee is mainly water.

9. Will you not drink coffee past a particular time?

2 PM

15. Add anything else you feel is worth mentioning in relation to the consumption of coffee. (for example, how long have you been drinking coffee, do you make coffee at home and drink it on the go, how much do you pay for a cup of coffee from the barista, does drinking coffee get your bowels moving, etc?)

Drinking caffeinated coffee gets my heart started in the morning.  Been that way for over 40 years.

I am drinking an IPA right now. I will answer this poll in detail tomorrow morning after my second cup of coffee.

I think I drink coffee more on the night than during the day, lol.

I think after I'm done with my cider tonight... I'll start to feel sleepy and then drink my coffee to stay awake longer because my day doesn't feel 'complete' yet (it's an O.C.D. thing).

1.  At home, other than when dining out.

5.  Altura, several different varieties.

6.  Not sure what to comes to in cups, but I generally get through a little more than two pots a day.

7.  Butter and honey.

8.  I've never thought to track my water consumption.  I drink coffee because I like it, I drink water because I'm thirsty.  I piss white, though, so I assume I'm getting enough water.

9.  No.  I occasionally have a cup before bed.

15.  Otherwise intelligent people tell me that butter in coffee in disgusting, so they refuse to even entertain the thought.  I have coffee with every meal, and my coffee consumption is not seasonally affected (I drink it just as much when the weather is hot).

I brew my own, ground from Java Beans and Joe brand beans. Two cups of black coffee each morning.

I ask the water question because just drinking coffee severely dehydrates me and makes me feel dizzy as though I'm going to pass out unless I also drink water on the side.

If you actually put water in your coffee it will hydrate you more than not drinking Tongue

If you're dehydrated you're probably not drinking enough water. But even drinking more coffee would be better than not drinking Tongue

I do instant coffee in the microwave. It's a full cup of water, heated for two minutes, with a tablespoon of coffee mixed in when I take it out of the microwave.

I drink it black.
