2-Everybody had something speculated in mind about why the question was asked; some answered and some others answered on the answers.
3-I commented
4-Then I replied to an answer answering to an answer about my post on the original question.
5-Then I remembered 2 lines: one from Scarface, and one from V for Vendetta.
6-British accent is weird. That's what I remembered  seeing V's video.
7-I imagine a British person saying "arse"; and it's hilarious.





8-That is the most beautiful laugh I ever saw or heard.
9-In a nutshell; there's the OP; then lots of answers, then lots of answers on the answers, a fraction of Scarface and V, and that's it. And Phobe's laugh

I can conceive of no scenario where a god of this world could be good. Or any  scenario were a god could justify the current state of suffering in the universe . So ultimately his existence would be  no different then excepting a car crash exists.  And i would regret nothing would use is regret? I would apologize for nothing  for he is still owed no such apology . It would bring up one interesting question though why should i care if he is good ?  As for higher powers those already exist it's called the universe .

While this scenario is highly improbable to happen, but let's play this for a moment shall we?  I'll obviously ask him why he allows suffering if he is omnibenevolent? Why did we inherit the sin of Adam? Isn't this unjust? Why did you kill your son? Why not just forgive us if you are omnibenevolent and spare your son the suffering and torture that he was forced to endure? There are so many questions I'd like to ask your god. To be honest, your god is not good, he is unjust and merciless. Your bible condones slavery and all sorts of horrible acts. Yes, yes, that was the old testament, but it's still the same triune god.

This is why I suggest the going backward approach.  Search a plethora of religions - try to understand them - and search for who are the guides and a revelation that makes sense that designates them. And perhaps all the questions you are confused about, you will find, through seeking the guides who are appointed to interpret the revelation and seeking knowledge from them and seeking to see what they say in the revelation,  then perhaps all your questions about life will be answered.

Search for what if God exists, would be the proper religion and proper sect in that religion,  then see if they pass on information from the divinely appointed leaders that leads to enlightenment and God.

I think it might be counter-intuitive- but think of this way, if God exists, he is the most important thing by definition so it is worth the time to search religions. And he doesn't exist, you need to know you did your best regardless to find out the truth regarding that.

And if God does exist and provided guidance - then our answers lie in his clarification and guidance, even the very proofs of his existence we are looking for.

It's better - and more accurate - than an American saying "herbs". The "h" isn't just decoration, guys.

Oh, and what's with the soft "th" in "Anthony"? Especially when the diminutive is "Tony". Nobody seems to have a problem with "Thomas", so what gives?
