Looking to magic book for insight on good governance, again?  GL with that, been working well thusfar?

I don't believe in magic; I believe that people differ, and from the obvious they will never unite. Good luck unifying Arabia if you can ! or Asia or Europe. Brixit was an example. The verse applies very well
RE: What would you do if you found out God existed
Yeah..yeah, I know, your magic isn't magic.

Sounds more like a self fulfilling prophecy from a tribal book of myths than any obvious rule of humanity to me. Sure, people differ...but it doesn;t follow from this that there is an insurmountable barrier to human unity either. After all, many different people are already united.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

People will never unite. As long as resources are distributed the way they are; and it's a de-facto that some are born poor while some are born rich, some have oil and some don't; then greed and envy will keep growing.

The current state of peace was preceded by a war that took the lives of 60 Million people. And it only ended 80 years ago, it didn't even complete a century.
It the above verse is considered a prophecy; I'm seeing that it's very realistic and has nothing to do with magic; especially when you combine it with this one:

Quote:Sura 17, The Quran:
(85) And there is not a town but We will destroy it before the Day of Resurrection or torment it with a severe torment. This is written in the Book.

Even the most irreligious person who looks at the world today, would know that it's a matter of time before a madman takes control and drops the first bomb.
The U.S already did it, and now we have Kim and Trump. It's just like a russian roulette if you ask me.

No magic.

Okay, I have to intervene with logic.

AtlasS33 is not MysticKnight, not even close.

Get over it.

AtlasS33 is actually smart and not attempting to impose any kind of Islamic beliefs onto you.

It's true, get used to it.

Why did we inherit the sin of Adam? Isn't this unjust? Why did you kill your son? Why not just forgive us if you are omnibenevolent and spare your son the suffering and torture that he was forced to endure? There are so many questions I'd like to ask your god. To be honest, your god is not good, he is unjust and merciless. Your bible condones slavery and all sorts of horrible acts. Yes, yes, that was the old testament, but it's still the same triune god.

This is why I suggest the going backward approach.  Search a plethora of religions - try to understand them - and search for who are the guides and a revelation that makes sense that designates them. And perhaps all the questions you are confused about, you will find, through seeking the guides who are appointed to interpret the revelation and seeking knowledge from them and seeking to see what they say in the revelation,  then perhaps all your questions about life will be answered.

Search for what if God exists, would be the proper religion and proper sect in that religion,  then see if they pass on information from the divinely appointed leaders that leads to enlightenment and God.

I think it might be counter-intuitive- but think of this way, if God exists, he is the most important thing by definition so it is worth the time to search religions. And he doesn't exist, you need to know you did your best regardless to find out the truth regarding that.

And if God does exist and provided guidance - then our answers lie in his clarification and guidance, even the very proofs of his existence we are looking for.

Well, I guess you are a shi'ah. I have been there and done that. No thanks! There is no evidence whatsoever for a god or gods.

People already unite in the face of resource disparity and scarcity, often enough because of it.  Greed and envy don't have to go away for unification.  They certainly haven't gone away in any unified area.

"Prophecy" isn't magic when magic book does it, amiright?  Looks, to me, like another of the self fulfilling variety.

Our country is basically built on Celtic savagery, Saxon agriculture, and Norman wisdom.

Heard some stuff about the Anglo-Saxons, and saw the movie of William Wallace, not the William the Bastard, never heard of him, the Celts were also on my radar because of their tribal Music. And I know that the different tribes living there gave the Romans hell. Normandy is linked to WW2 in my head.

Once he consolidated his rule, a dozen years after arriving - 1066 and all that - the literal original William in this country took the epithet "The Conquerer".

As for Celtic music, you're probably thinking of Enya.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

You really have faith in the goodness and rationality of people; some voices might demand unity in the face of hunger and natural disasters, but eventually it's always "Trump's withdrawal from the Climate Accord", or Brexit. Putting the differences behind and working to achieve something good for everybody is just not on the list, it's always "me and my people only".

If you ask me how wrong people are; I can tell you about Muslims who ignore this verse like it doesn't exist:
Quote:Sura 60, The Quran:
(7) Perhaps Allah may appoint between you and those of them whom ye hold as enemies affection. And Allah is Potent, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
(8) Allah does not forbid you from dealing justly and kindly with those who did not fight against you in the matter of religion nor drove you out of your land. Surely Allah loves the doers of justice (those who deal with equity).

So I can tell you that collaboration for a good thing is already a religious sentence I should live by; just like contributing to lowering the damage on Earth's atmosphere, or contributing to end the hunger in Africa and the whole world...etc.
But many humans don't do the good things; being selfish creatures, we prefer our own interest most of the time.
I would never trust human "kind hearts"; ever. Lots of people will smile in your face; and stab you when you turn. Then; brag over your dead body about being "genius heroes" that managed to fool you.

I don't think they will ever unite until the end of this universe.
