I'm pretty sure Wooters is not a "far-right racist."  If he were, he wouldn't spend so much time here, I think.

But the use of this kind of language is exactly what I'm talking about, and I'd say that you and Khemikal are doing a pretty good job of showing that there are, in fact, SJWs.  Nor would I consider SJW a far-right term.  I consider myself left-leaning, and I do not see dogmatization of discussions about race or anything else as a left-wing principle.

Left/right shouldn't be the metric most cared about.  Truth / falsehood should be.  What falsehood does the OP represent, actually?  Do you dispute that those things happened?  Do you think Neo's criticism of them should be disregarded because of who you think Neo is?

All of them, in the opening post.  Of course you wouldn't see it.  You either like to see the best in everyone, or at the very least in your fellow Christians.  Something that can be an admirable trait, but sometimes you have to pull that curtain back.  

He says in the opening post: "And they wonder why we do not take their charges of racism and bigotry seriously anymore..."  Verbatim.  His own words.   Which implies that Racism is dead, or at the very least not a problem anymore. (He's also previously went on about how poor people have nothing to complain about anymore, because they have refrigerators.  Which is equally ridiculous)

And of course he takes joy in dismissing claims of racism so casually, because of events so small that you have to look at them under a microscope.  

It's a common tactic these days.  Ignoring issues because people do something you disagree with.  It's pure spite.  And I see no reason to be spiteful toward an entire race of people, unless you are in fact racist against them.

I don't see where he dismissed any serious claim of racism. He was referring to the examples he listed as far as i can tell, which were not real racism. But perhaps he can come in here and clarify it for everyone else in the thread.

You do realize that the politically correct term is "mentally challenged", don't you? Using the word retarded as a synonym for stupid is deeply offensive to some people, particularly me, since everyday I work with the mentally ill who struggle to overcome the stigma put on them by that kind of thoughtless talk. In all this time I have never meet a mentally challenged individual that played the victim or used their symptoms as an excuse for their personal failures - unlike students at elite schools whining about how oppressed they are or how unsafe they feel.

And you do realize that there is a difference between absolute poverty, like living in tar-paper shack in Calcutta, and relative poverty, like not having a flat-screen television like the rest of the kids. My point is that simply by living in America, the poor are way better off than any place in the third world. I didn't say that to imply we should accept relative poverty or not try to address it. What I was saying, in context, was that it is a privilege just to be an American and that alone makes our country, its symbols, and the principles they stand for worthy of respect.
