Wouldn't this rapist have a court order to stay so many feet from children? Be living in one of those sex criminal trailer parks? How does get custody of a kid? Does he get to take the kid to school?

Thinking rationally about it, the kid is his son. The male rapist seems to enjoy raping young girls, so the boy would be considered safe with the father. Even if the male rapist was into young boys, there's no guarantee he would cross the boundary into incest.

I just don't think a child rapist should ever have custody of any of his children, regardless.
