Lets see. This god creates something, tempts it on purpose, then punishes it and it's kind for the rest of time.
Not really a good thing to believe in or worship.

Yes but whitout knowledge of good and evil, Adam could have decided to comite suicide without knowing that is not a good thing . Maybe that was the purpose of the tamptation. Apparently adam and god had an ongoing conversation and adam could have asked or god could have taught. An omniscient god could have stopped a suicide or just made another adam. Not good reasoning.

I am an atheist. No gods exist. Everything in the bible was written by humans. I never ask "What did god mean by this story?" I always ask "What purpose did this story serve the writers?' I also wonder why this ancient drivel is so real to modern humans.

When i sayed teacher i reffered to a human teacher , without supernatural conotations . It is a posibility that in terms of science he wouldn't know more than us , but in term of good and right he has perfection.
