You know what I've always wondered?

(but I would assume it would be fully that animal because it was made in real animal form)

That's the question, though! Since the animagus is technically a human would their DNA be affected by turning into an animal or would they be passing on human DNA to an animal thus making it not even possible for conception to take place because the definition of a species is not being able to have offspring with something of another species?

And if it is possible, is the resultant creature part human or not?

Inquiring minds want to know, Rowling! I'm so asking her if I ever meet her.

An animagus is a wizard that can turn into an animal at will - but only one kind of animal. Like McGonagall can turn into a cat, but only a cat, never a dog or horse or bird.

Current question:
Am I smelling something that smells moldy or am I tasting something off in my coffee? Can't tell.

I don't think they'd be able to procreate. An animagus is a human. An animal is an animal. Magic or not, the DNA just ain't right.

If the Department of Mysteries is so laissez-faire with regards to time travel that they literally lend a teenage student a time machine so that she can attend multiple classes at once, why the fuck don't they use them to go back in time to kill Voldemort / Hitler?

Next question though is if a tiger and lion can mate is it because they are both felines? With that question would the person changing change into that animal in all manners, would it be slightly off like a tiger vs lion, or do they keep the same DNA of a human? Chances are Rowling will say they just can't mate.

Because that would ruin the books.

I've always wondered how people can believe some of the stupid things they do, how for example, is scientology a thing.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

Schools require physicals before kids can participate in sports?

Maybe that's the difference between rec leagues and school leagues - I never got a physical to play sports when I was a kid...

Yep... it's absolutely a requirement. And for the 2017-2018 school year, for my state, the physicals have to be done after June 1, 2017 and they expire May 31, 2018. So every single year my kids want to participate in any sport, they have to get physicals.
