Well, all I really took from it is that this guy was indeed a fixture here if LP was able to so perfectly imitate his style I bet LP can also speak Little Rikian for similar reasons (ie looong exposure)

I always thought they were a cult, not a religion... not that it makes much difference. All I knew about them was that they hand out flowers at airports to guilt people into donating money to them; read that in a book about irrationality; how people feel a strange sense of obligation if given a gift and almost literally can't say no once they have accepted the gift. In this particular book, the people given the flowers all felt harassed and uncomfortable with it, and binned those flowers as soon as they got the chance; but the author following them, cynically the hare krishna's retrieved the flowers from the airport bins to give out to the next unsuspecting travellers, in this cynical game of psychology. So that's all I know about them really... cultish and cynically devious.

It makes you wonder how you would deal with that situation if the reciprocity instinct is so strong. The only way I can think of really is to 'donate' the flower to their coffers
