Every string of .50cal burst is a universally understood message in morse.
"Fuck off"
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

And when you have five boats with a total of 15 .50s they gotta know you know they're there.

You're thinking of agoraphobia.
(And even then, it isn't...)
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Organisms that don't have a 'drive to survive' are poorly adapted for most reproductive environments that involve being able to move.
Why organisms are hardwired for survival at all? The term "hardwired" begs the question. It isn't a matter of wiring or design but the simple fact that organisms that don't survive, don't reproduce, and die out; those who do survive; DO reproduce and DON'T die out. Your question is like asking why breathing matters.

Three types of mutations, all random.
1. Lethal.
Creature is born without the ability to eat.
2. Neutral.
Creature is born with slightly curly hair, no other change.
3. Beneficial.
Creature is slightly better at catching food.

Never seen any convincing evidence for it.
