Well. My own father died of Parkinsons and that did involve at least some loss of brain mass, but I do not think that is where this discussion is at.

Here's my beliefs:

Free will either doesn't exist or the concept of "free will" is so trivially true that it's useless and empty.

The past and future do not exist but instead existed and will exist respectively.

Compatabilism with regards to "free will" is analogous to pantheism with regards to "god".

Actual loss of brain mass is a real thing, so yes.

Shooting from hip BSE springs to mind and it's human equivalent which name escapes me. In any event the operative word is "spongiform". It is frankly eerie to see what that does to the brain.

As I understand it, there is a hatload of research going on into that very thing and it appears that it can be done. Even for stroke or gross GSW damage. If it pans out (and I hope it does) it would indeed be a medical revolution.

Psychosis is a symptom, not a disease and it does not cause "loss of brain mass".

When your brain is shooting super fast, my doctor told me it get's to stage that it is toxic and burns away parts of your brain.  That is when our dopamine receptors are in overdrive, and we thinking way too fast, the brain physically cannot handle it, and a chemical reaction happens that does away with mass in the brain.

I shouldn't fire Dopamine when I see a circumcised penis. But I remember quite well when I used to check out "Ali" -who was quite hairless and white- in school;when his leg show up by mistake. Shit; that was because there were no women, no girls to love in flesh and blood.

So that's my opinion; Homosexuality is not evil; but an aftermath.
