Satanic Bible vs Christian Bible

Satanic Bible vs Christian Bible
I seem to like the Satanic Bible more because it seems more appealing to me.

The Christian Bible, on the other hand, seems to be a book of guilt-trip babble.

The Satanic Bible seems less strict and let's you live your life the way you want to.

The Christian Bible is the book of abstinence; the Satanic Bible is the book of indulgence.

Anyway, what is your opinion on the matter? Let me know.

I don't need to look in a book to find out how I'm supposed to live my life.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

The ethics of the Satanism in the Satanic Bible is too Randian for my taste. The Satanic Temple has it right, I think.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

The two characters are linked to old mythology, and quite frankly I fucking HATE this new trend to treat "Satanism" as different.

No, it is simply another attempt by humans to re invent the wheel.

Our species morality isn't in a club, or label. Our species ability to be cruel or compassionate is in our evolution.

Common secular law is what matters. Equality under the law matters. Not the bullshit labels humans create to justify belonging to a club.

Satanism, to me is simply no different than the attempt by Early Christians to break off from Jews. No different to me than when early Buddhists took motifs from Hindus to create a new club.

NO, nobody needs to be a Satanist either. You just need to be a decent human. It isn't about "always do what you want" either. It is about knowing all 7 billion of us are the same species.

I hate the "Satanist" movement as much as any religion as far a logic.

You dont need a list of moral codes when you know that good and bad are in our evolution, not our labels, not the clubs we claim.

We are all individuals.

New age woo is as bad to me as any mythology of antiquity.

Satan is a character taken out of old mythology. Attempting to water it down and make it a counter to the bad claims of the God character, does not change the roots of inspiration that the new club split from the old ways.

Good and bad happen, that is all that needs to be said. Outside that, humans need to look at ourselves as individuals not clubs.

Aton LeVay intended the Satanic Bible to be a parody of the Holy Bible. If you take it seriously you've been had.

If I'm going to have a book dictate my life, it'll be 'Biker Sluts On Mars'.

Well, sure, but why do you need a "Bible"?

Why did the followers of Louis feel the need to write one? Persecution complex?

Well, I didn't say I needed a Bible. I was just asking which one is better in your opinion.

The Satanic Bible is better in my opinion, but I don't really need either of those books, since I'm not a Christian nor a LaVeyan Satanist.
