Well, the day has come and we're headed to the casino. Probably the native american one. Ya know, that whole reparations chestnut. hehehe

I'm not cooking anything, because most people like food to be edible.

That's similar to the reason why I don't cook for people. I tend to not cook for people because people usually prefer their food somewhere on the middle ground between
raw and poisonous and incinerated into a pile of ash.

My husband however has made a lot of food already including pumpkin pies, cranberry bread, and amish bread.  Tomorrow morning he will take the unenviable task of getting up early and putting the turkey on to cook.  Luckily he doesn't have to cook much more, because our guests will bring the side dishes.

So, expectation was I'd go to neighbors for a nice meal.

In actuality, gallstones vetoed me leaving the house today, so my T-day feasting consisted of:

Norco every 6 hours

some fill in Tylenol capsules

1 dinner roll

1 petit slice of turkey breast

no sugar added canned pear slices (3)

fat free whole wheat crackers (6) still dislodging seeds from dental work

2 Ensures

2 diet green teas

1 multivitamin

1/3 of a brownie, no frosting

1/2 cup 1% milk

as much celery as I wanted (that would be 2 pcs)

Stable plumbing day of, despite my eating recklessly by accident (I was so thrilled they steamed their veggies this time rather than buttered them or otherwise). Today it's likely good that I need to stay home and do some adulting, though.
