OK, I wasn't going to respond in this thread, because it was asked of the ladies. But my answer would be lesbian, since I am interested in the same things as they are, except I don't need a strap on.

I certainly don't need one. Although I am occasionally curious about the idea (this is very recently)

I guess what I'm not getting from the OP is some implication or insinuation on CL's part that there's something shameful about ''anything but straight' sexuality.  Perhaps she is simply curious because doesn't come across it that much IRL.  Are you basing your assumption that the OP is laced with judgement on something within it that I'm simply failing to notice?  Or are you basing it on prior interactions with the author?  Not being snarky; I just feel like your making a pretty big leap in assuming ulterior motives here.

I'm basing my opinion on the utterly dishonest fashion in which the OP was presented, as well countless prior posts and threads  in which the author attempts to draw a correlation/connection between atheism and what considers she to be immoral as determined by her belief system.

She's slumming.

If folks can't see the obvious past the constant declarations "Gee golly, you guys are all swell!", that's fine; Makes no difference to me.

Another possibility is that she is drawn to our community because she perceives it to challenge some positions her community holds which to some degree she thinks deserve challenging.

That's a good question. I'd be curious to know that as well. Don't think I've ever met one. I remember EP once alluded to the fact that he might be, but you never know with him.

People attempting to explain pansexual is very interesting to me.

I've always considered it very simple to explain since it was first explained to me. But then maybe who explained it to me explained it well.

The clue is in the etymology. "Bi"="two" but "pan"="all". So bisexuals are attracted to both sexes (meaning male and female), but pansexuals are attracted to all sexes, including non-binary.

Furthermore bisexuals, despite being attracted to both males and females, may be more attracted to one sex than the other . . . but for pansexuals the sex of the person has no bearing on how attractive they find them. They only see the person and are only attracted to the person, regardless of their sex.

Never considered pansexual (though I do love bread) since there are lots of people I don't find at all attractive sexually including little kids and other species, though I am very fond of dogs in an affectionate, non-sexual way.

Pansexual=sexually attracted to all sexes in the same way that hereosexual is attracted to one sex, or bisexual is attracted to two sexes, etc.

In what way is it a cry for attention?  The OP isn't even about her, lol.  It's not like she's saying, 'I think you bi ladies are hot, but god's book tells me it's sooo naughty!"

Thena have you spoken to CL at all outside this thread? Do you know her personality at all? It kinda feels like you don't and you just walked in this thread and came to your own conclusions. Now I'm not saying I know CL in real life but after being friends with her on FB and chatting with her here on this site it's pretty obvious that she isn't playing these games you accuse her of. Your insistence that she is and saying we are pretty much blind to her actions does come off as quite rude.

CL I actually noticed the same thing about the women here so I get why you would ask. It does seem like an interesting experiment. I think the whole aspect of atheists are usually more open to voicing who they really are seems to allow for the true numbers of sexual orientation to show up. I honestly think that without politics and religion the whole world would be more of the ratio that we see here. People are just scared to come out in other communities which is why I kinda think the assuming Muslims don't have gays is a little naive. They have them they just won't admit it. Even if people aren't getting killed everyone knows even in the states people are getting thrown out of their families, social circles, religions, etc. It's a lot to lose so many don't risk it. Then there are the ones that are ashamed and that's a whole other story.
