Would you say you all take festive Christmas Eve dumps?

This is what Hammy's doing when someone unexpectedly knocks on the door and he doesn't want to answer hehe Wink

Yule / Winter Solstice: I hang up a string of golden apples in the arch between the dining room and living room, in honour of Idunna (and with a nod and a wink to Eris, as well).

Christmas Eve (afternoon): I go out for a cappuccino, preferably to a mall so that I can watch the last-minute shoppers rush hither and yon.

Christmas morning: Gourmet coffee and chocolate for breakfast.

Personally I'd never do stuffing in the bird, but then I wouldn't wait for the drippings in the pan the bird was cooked in to make the gravy either. But then again I've pretty much stopped cooking that big meal from scratch now that the market will give me pre-cooked everything that I only need to re-heat.

I forgot to mention our weird Inception-tree tradition. Tibs and I started taking a funny Christmas pic in front of our tree every year when he first moved here. We put the picture in an ornament every year. This was our fourth one doing that. Our fifth Christmas together total.
