Compared to MRA leaders stating the kind of stuff above . So yeah there is that .

Also, the article about feminists not trusting men as allies is more benign than the title makes it sound. I actually read that article a couple hours before Shell brought it up, and there is a bit of a mismatch between what the title says and what the body of the article says. All its saying is to be wary of men who say theyre feminists, not to trust people blindly. And thats fine, I dont want anyone to blindly trust me. I will still support a cause even if its members are naturally going to be wary, because (in this case) Im doing so for my sister and my partner and not merely for myself.

done with this childish competition male vs female drama.

I was not saying  male feminist are creeps . The general notion was too make woman aware that creeps and pick up artist do use feminism as a pick up tactic . This is contrasted with actual male feminist who actually care about woman . Your confusing simple contionary measures with branding all male feminists as creeps . No feminist i am aware of makes such a leap . I am a male feminist myself . And have never been branded a creep by any of my feminist friends .

Yup perfectly wise precaution. I never expect  woman to blindly trust me . Just because i claim i'm a feminist .

You dont become a feminist by just giving it a try, lol. Thats basically what MK tried to do once with atheism. And he didnt last long.

Really? Tongue I always assume whenever someone say they are a feminist and it's a guy that he's a "feminist" to appease women, kind of like old school pick up artists 🤣

Nope it's in actual PUA literature (including international rapist and guy who thinks rape on private  property should be legal Roosh V's "advise " for men trying to pick up women )  "Call yourself a feminist as a hook " they call it .

Lmao that is so ridiculous, do women really fall head over heels for men that are feminists? If that's the case I can be a feminist as well Angel

RE: Men's Rights Movement
Well it's happened men pretending to be feminists have molested women . And PUA will use it as a tactic  . it comes from the notion that a feminist men will not try and take advantage of a woman. It's not a question of raw attraction but trust .

Yeah, I'm a man ... I knew that already. There are indeed men with legitimate complaints. But MRA and feminist movements are sure not equal and that's because the grievances aren't equal.

Anyway, I wonder how many battered-men's shelters these MRA guys have funded ... how many pro bono lawyers they provide for custody cases ... versus how many posts on reddit they make. What have they done in terms of practicality to show that they are actually concerned about the complaints they lay? We've got their mouth. Where's their money?

I knew I had heard about this somewhere, so I did a quick Google search and got this. Give it a read and you'll get an idea of what goes in the background. http://m.huffingtonpost.ca/2013/04/29/ea...79850.html

I think it’s fine that you’re a feminist. I’ve never said anyone shouldn’t be. I simply choose to support people when I can without using the label, which isn’t something I thought I’d get so much “you’re like white lives matter” about. I stand by it, though. People bullying me about labels (not yourself) aren’t going to convince me to take them on, though I’m sure that was never the real purpose behind the vitriol.
