Men's Rights Movement

Wilfully blind to reality and yet wants to act like she gets it. Only someone with an anti-feminist agenda would say that men and women have it equally bad in a clearly patriarchal world. Yes, men do have disadvantages but they are relatively minor to the disadvantages faced by women. And no, your experience doesnt count nor does it contradict what is said here because no one here is saying that there arent women who are encouraged to apply for a white collar job. But of course you will continue to spout egalitarian nonsense like a broken record because you just prob arent wired at this stage to see the reality members here keep talking about. Youre living in your own bubble where you are and have no reason to open your eyes.

I agree with you. EXCEPT it's really one of my pet peeves to say someone is doing something willfully or on purpose when we have no evidence that they're doing that. It's like when someone calls me a liar just because I disagree with them. Even if I'm wrong about something and therefore saying something untrue that doesn't make me a liar or my wrongness willful.

I don't think CL's ignorance about this is willful. I think she genuinely thinks she's being fair.

Regardless of how some MRA's act/say, there ARE legitimate issues pertaining to men there ARE worth raising awareness about. Like wrongful convictions, more time in prison for the same crime, prostate cancer, getting screwed in child custody courts, etc. I still don't understand why we can't talk about those issues without someone coming in and being like "Well women this and that!!!"

You address these issues through feminism not by vilifying or alienating one away from it.

Lol @ people talking on behalf of "men". Take a seat and talk for yourself, just because you don't need your issues solved doesn't mean others don't as well. If you think your issues are miniscule compared to women's issues then you can ignore YOUR issues, you don't get to make decisions on behalf of more than a billion other living men. Don't be ridiculous.

Also, thinking the mra people raise a issue like "women don't sleep with me" is completely ridiculous, a lie and also most probably projection. The thought process is probably "I'm a man and the only issue I have is I can't sleep with women so every other man's issue is they can't sleep with women as well, that is ridiculous you can't complain about not being able to sleep with women, what losers".

Issues of individual people aren't "men's issues".

There isn't any serious discrimination against men just because they're men. The odd crazy man-hating woman doesn't count. Society discriminates against women and men have privileges.

You brought feminism into the mix with your OP, by posting a video of a feminist. It fairly demands that the merits of her feminism be discussed. Your frustration at that being in this discussion is puzzling.

Oh shut up.

I never said they have it equally bad. That is specifically NOT the point. Holy fuck, talking to you is seriously fucking impossible.

What video are you talking about? And I don't understand how your post follows mine (the one you are responding to).
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Anyway, I wonder how many battered-men's shelters these MRA guys have funded ... how many pro bono lawyers they provide for custody cases ... versus how many posts on reddit they make. What have they done in terms of practicality to show that they are actually concerned about the complaints they lay? We've got their mouth. Where's their money?

I still haven’t said they are equal, so ...

... and I haven't attributed that to you. Matter of fact, I agreed with you right inside the post you quoted.

I then added my own musings. <shrug>

I agree with you semantically. While I don't believe men have as many problems with equality as women, I don't think any individual problems are more important than others intrinsically or because of the gender of the person having a problem.

Hardly...

I'm talking about on a large scale like women do, I'm not talking about the odd man-hating mad woman.

I'm sure there's white people who suffer discrimination from black people too. But we don't exactly need a "white lives matter" movement.

These MRA incels need to get some fucking perspective.

You've clearly never spent any time in probate court.
