Nietzsche once said there was only one true Christian and he died on the Cross. I don't think we've had much progress in that area since 1888.

He actually lived according to the rules in the New Testament? All of them?

Is that what a Christian is?
Is that the only way to interpret what a Christian is?

If so, I am mistaken in posting in this thread. He certainly thinks he's a true Christian.

I asked a specific question. However, I'm not territorial. But I still would like to know if he followed all the rules in the NT.

Never had a contemporary Christian explain why they do NOT practice the religion OF Jesus, and while I'm never expecting to ever see it explained, maybe someone will step up this occasion and 'splain it, regardless of my expectations .  .  .  .  .  .  .

Because I'm not a Jew.

And your claim is BS, that's been explained here lots of times.

Why wouldn't practicing the ACTUAL faith Jesus practiced be a fucking guaranty of Salvation ??

Why risk the significantly non-zero chance Apostle Paul was "The First Heretic" (and your own Salvation) with a GARANTEED path to heaven ??

Don't fall for Paul !!!

The gist of it is that no one actually -can- live up to the faith -of- jesus, as he practiced it.

It's super difficult to engage in a twelve way bromance on a sugar mommas dime as a voluntarily failed carpenter.  He was just the best.  Sinless. We pretty much need to ride his coat tails into the party if we want to get past the bouncer in the sky.

Christians aren't jews because, deep down...they positively -know- that they cannot fulfill the requirements of The Law or approach the example of Christ, wretched creatures that they are. "Jesus" is the only way out for them (or in...I suppose they imagine). Wink

-subsequently, that's why that motherfucker just had to die.

RE: Has anyone met a Christian?
Christians are people who know they need Jesus and what He has offered and then accepts Him and the gift. After that we try to live the best we know how for Him, not for others. When we live for Him others become the beneficiaries of our relationship with Christ. I know the Christians here will understand this and the atheist will scoff and go on living a life that is hell bound.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
