Has anyone met a Christian?

I never said you didn't support some in need and when you do if it's not for a selfish reason then you have done a little of God's will for mankind.
Many Christians however give of themselves even when it's very inconvenient and costly for them, it's done because it's God's will and when we do the will of God others benefit. Jesus spoke on this and all the atheist can see is that Jesus told people they had to hate their loved ones. I'm not going farther into this because with the bunch that here now it will not be receive in any way other than mocking.y
Well I also assume people are worth much because that is what Christians are to do, you believe I disrespect you when my problem with you is your disrespect for God.

Many xtians give of themselves when it's very inconvenient  . . . sure, everybody knows that.  They believe that they are piling up treasures in heaven.
Don't even START on a child raised fundamentalist with that "hate their loved ones" bullshit. I was disowned.  I live CHRISTIAN HATE when i get up in the morning and when I go to bed at night.  Disrespect for gawd.  Yeah right.  Not only is the evidence that there is no sky-daddy completely overwhelming . . .
But exactly how do you disrespect Meteor Man?  How do you disrespect The Tick?  How do you disrespect Ant Man?  I mean, the stories are fun, sure, but they are fiction.
So is your god.

Those treasures are most likely not physical, spiritual treasures would be more appropriate. We will have no need for physical treasure, the streets are paved with gold, gold will be used as pavement. By being obedient to God we will have some sort of treasures and I can assure you I'm not counting, God will take care of everything.

You've made a lot of claims, now it's time prove them. I'm sorry you were disowned that isn't the way Christians are suppose to act, if you had been part of my family you wouldn't have been disowned but instead loved. That verse has nothing to do with disowning people and everything to do with loving them, people don't try to dig into the scriptures to find out what Jesus was saying.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Pretty sure he assigned authority not to himself but rather to the NT.

It's illustrative that none of the people who claim to be Christians have actually read a two sentence OP, isn't it?

He just sits there and watch children painfully starve to death. At least rain down some fucking manna like you did in the Old Testament.

GC is just another histrionic personality who found an audience here. He's not going to prove anything.

Yeah, my Mom used to say that.  Kind of like "the Bible says it" or "a preacher said it" and that ends it.

It doesn't matter who says it, it is true period.

drfuzzy Wrote:Question a book or an illiterate con-artist witch doctor and you'll go to hell just for doubting.

Not true people do have doubts especially during a crisis, some Christians just do not grow up and struggle all their lives.

drfuzzy Wrote:  Well, the Bible was written by con artist witch doctors who thought that demons caused all illness and that stars were pinned in the dome of the sky (and god could move them - even stop the sun that orbited the earth) and that when it rained too much or too little it meant that god was mad.  All religious teachings only have two purposes: to control others and take their money.

Nope, it wasn't and you can not prove differently, I know you would like to but it's not going to happen.

See I'm still good at cleaning up trash and trash like that will never garner my respect for you.

drfuzzy Wrote:You didn't answer my question.  At all.  "spiritual treasures"     "Dig into the scriptures"         God doesn't exist.

I suppose you know what those treasures are and if you do not like my answers then just buzz off.  Prove God doesn't exist.

drfuzzy Wrote:"You've made a lot of claims, now it's time prove them."  That's where all the preachers get it wrong.  Yeah, they've had thousands upon thousands of years where the witch doctor could shake his rattle, make faces, and say "if you don't believe me GREAT POOBAH is going to GET you" and scare the crap out of people who thought that great poobah made the rain.  You claim there is a god.  I say that the evidence seems to be stacked against this, and I require proof of a deity.  And the preachers just go back to their personal feelings and fantasies and silly nature claims and nasty book.  If a book is proof, then sparkly vampires are coming to get you.

Most of the above makes no sense at all, you might have practiced worshiping a poobah or something and you might have used rattles in the service and a preacher might have scared you, that's what happens when you rely solely on man and forget that God is the one who reveals all thing. If you are waiting on proof it will come the day you die.
Cleaned up some more trash, why don't you drop the trash and act like a grown up and less like DieAtheist.

Actually I am not required to prove anything, it's up to you to investigate and ask.

I've met people who think the bible is true in the literal sense. But, if they can learn about astrotheology and see that the bible is full of sex, stellar, lunar, solar, and psychedelic worship, then they would be more enthused.
