You really only want to live in the northeast (New England south to about... I dunno, Pennsylvania? Maybe Maryland?) or the west coast. Everything else is more or less JesusLand USA.

I think it's great that you're moving here. What will you be doing, job wise?

New York has a ridiculous cost of living though lol. I recommend the Carolinas.

When I was in the Navy we made the run up to Vegas on a regular basis. And no matter when we started out from Diego the trip was an over-nighter.
