Which is why pure philosophy won't get you to truth. You need to actually look at the universe around you.
Observation is crucial. Testing crucial. Skepticism, especially for those things you feel you *want* to agree with, is crucial.
Logic alone cannot reach truth. It is a way of getting from one truth statement to another. But you need that one (or more) to get started.
