Just saw footage of Woodrow Wilson (President during WWI in the US) riding down the street in an open roadster. Several men walked beside the car or in it with him. They wore trench coats and fedoras. You can always tell the Secret Service men, they're the only ones NOT looking at the President. 

My thought when I saw them was "Wow, aurors."
