teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

What about me, I know without doubt God exists and need no convincing in the matter and it is you I hope will come to the same realization. Seeking the only God who created all things is something all need to do.

I honestly believe that helps you get by. That it stirs the fires of your purpose and gives your humanity meaning. I can honestly believe that you believe you know. Your faith in your belief wasn’t the question. It was your concivction to the process of maintaining that belief. It’s like celebrating your fish’s birthday because your convinced he cares. It’s sweet and endearing and helps you feel good.
My relationship with God gets me through, not what I do and say. I do not need to live an emotional life though at times emotions come in. The only process I have is growing in my relationship with God, I do not have to be here to convince myself of anything. I witness because I know God and what it will mean for others to know. My faith and belief have progressed to knowledge of God as God promised it could happen and this is what you have a problem with, when one comes to that knowledge things change in ways only those who experience this knowledge. I have and have had many show Rottweilers and I have never celebrated anything other than their performances in the ring, they couldn't care less about a birthday or any other day, but some do care about how they do in the ring, those are the very special ones that don't come along every day. So you see I know God is real and my savior, I've seen His promises come to fruition and usually when I wasn't expecting it. By the way Christianity is not a feel good thing and we are not guaranteed a feel good life, things can get ever hard at times because it is real.

All that tells us is that you believed it's real, much like anyone from any other religion believes it's real.

People who don't believe in god don't believe you have knowledge of a god, they do not believe there is a god to have knowledge of so no.. they don't have a problem with it, they simply don't believe you.

Well yes things do change, but it's still not proof of anything outside your mind.

No idea why you put that in ?

It seems just like life because, well.. it is real life.

I know the reality of the God of the Bible, He has proved Himself to me in unique ways, ways I know you want accept, but then they were meant for me.

I'm not stupid I know you don't, but what you believe doesn't change a thing, God is real. If they/you didn't have a problem then why would you even bother talking to Christians. Denial can be a powerful thing, something that usually leads to bad things no matter the subject. Besides not believing in something is still a belief system.

Prove it's just in my mind, this is a claim I here from atheist all the time and yet none have given an ounce of proof. Generally when a great change comes over someone there is someone behind that change.

Read the OP, the clue is there. Besides I wasn't responding to you.

No, do tell. Are you being persecuted for being a Christian? Or you feel sexually inhibited?

If you had been born in Hyderabad to Hindu parents, they would have started teaching you about Brahma and the Vedas before you could speak. You would have attended Puja (adoration) in the temple on a regular basis and studied the Vedas. You would have felt the presence of Brahma (or Vishnu, or Shiva) as you worshiped - it's simply group hypnosis. If you want to feel something desperately enough, you will feel it. If you were born in Haiti, you might have attended a voodoo service. The group think is so strong there that people actually drive themselves into trances and visions - not unlike the Pentecostal services I remember, where people would thrash on the floor and yell gibberish.
What is interesting is that despite all of this crowd delusion, there is not a single person on the planet who can actually provide proof that any deity exists.

Science already established that it is man behavior that cause diseases.
Nothing to do with God.
Really? Who created smallpox? Who wiped it out?
If you have solid evidence that God created smallpox then by all means bring forward this evidence.
You may even get a Nobel prize.
As far as we know infectious diseases are caused by meat eating especially from meat not kept under proper hygienic condition and by poor hygienic condition in general plus having sex with animals.
Scientists of course always work to defeat these diseases but as far as people will keep on doing the wrong thing it will be a losing battle so even scientists will be unable to do anything about it.

I admit that I was a fool thinking that I'll have at least 1% coherent conversation with crazy person that constantly looses track of what he's talking about, because it was you who said that god punishes us for eating venison and then when I asked you where did you get that information of what god wants us to do you started mentioning scientists.
Mate.
Please look after your mental health if you can.
When I ever said that God.........punish us for eating venison?
I rather said............... Science tell us that so many terrible diseases in humans come from animal eating so God or no God this is totally irrelevant. All you do is to rely on what science tell us.
If of course science is correct then this also go hand in hand with God...............
Is all about action and reactions FM.
Karma is an universal rule to keep the universe running otherwise nothing would work.
Sure, God created this rule, who else but a reaction to a good or a bad action is not a punishment from God.
If you travel too fast is likely that you may kill yourself.
If you smoke you may well get a cancer.
And if you eat the wrong food or food that hasn't been kept under proper hygienic condition then you are likely to suffer.
You are punishing yourself not God.
Again.
Where is the evidence that God punish you?

How many kicked dogs does it take to keep the sun from blinking out, if you had to guess? Or, does it work the other way round..such that there's a number of kicked dogs x that will trigger the death of the sun?
