Hello to Atheist Forums

Been snooping around for a while so I thought it was time to join in and give it a go.

I am a retired Engineer.

I am an atheist, not an agnostic, an atheist. Been one all my life I guess, but really have become quite interested in atheism and religions since retirement.

I am a skeptic to a fault, firm supporter of science and evidence base thinking.

Welcome and have at it.

I'm curious why you specify "atheist, not agnostic" but you don't need to answer that here if you prefer not to. There are many of us here who self describe as both agnostic and atheist. Perhaps you feel better prepared to defend the position that gods do not exist than do I.
