There are some criminals who just do not take to rehablitation and will always pose a danger to others, this is particularly true of some paedophiles who will rape and kill no matter the risk.
Below is a true story from from round these parts which has become famous as the origin of the term sweet 'Fanny Adams' which now means 'fuck all'

The man who did this wrote in his diary for that day.

Would you trust someone capable of such unprovoked savagery to live near your children?
If the criminals who do these things are executed it brings a finality to it that would otherwise not exist, the parents and others would have to live on knowing that the monster who defiled their child still lived in relative comfort. I pay more regard to the victims and the victims families than to the people who so far steppped outside of the mores of society as to make their own life an abonination.
