The whole thing is ridiculous.  We could..if we wanted to, posit that a small subset of absurdly strange males are better a powerlifting (for example) than all females...but what sense does it then make to posit that no absurdly strange females are better than all males in any competition which favors female physiology?

Can we all agree that ultra marathoners are insane people and shouldn't be counted as humans?

Even when I was in shape... I never liked running; just for the sake of running.  This is nuts to me!

24-hour run

A special form of ultra marathon is a 24-hour run. Here, the participants have to run as far as possible within 24 hours. The male world record is 303.506 km and was set by Yiannis Kouros and Mami Kudo holds the female record of 252.205 km.

So the men were still significantly better at that. Hmph!

As me and a few others have already explained in detail, the "problem" is that being a transwomen means you are biologically male, and therefore have a male advantage over cis women, who are biologically female. Sports are divided up by sex, not gender. In a women's competition, yes, only people who are biological female and therefore don't have a male advantage should be "allowed" to compete and win.

You just admitted above that you don't care if transwomen have a male advtange over the other women and beat them. You specifically said "even of they are stronger and will win, why not just let them?" You think they should be allowed to compete against cis women who dont have a male advantage and beat them anyway. You just admitted it.

You are not an athlete and you're not a woman. Neither are Grandizer and Tiz. So I can "semi" see why it doesnt matter to you that someone with a male advantage would compete in the women's division, with women who don't have a male advantage, and crush their records and get first place due to their male advantage that all the other women don't have. I can see why this may seem trivial to someone who is a man and has never competed in sports ("What's wrong ladies, just let that transwoman over there with a male advantage beat you all, no biggie! You'll just continue to be the physically weaker sex!"). ...Not understanding competitiveness and the hard work a person puts into their sport, you're just going to default to the trans side of everything because it's the PC thing to do.

This is exactly right; I totally agree with CL in this thread. It takes a hell of a lot of work to get to being a competitive athlete. I've put thousands of hours into track, and I know that all of my competitors put that much time into training as well, and that's the whole fun of the competition. The thought that a massive group of people - all biological men - could enter with a fixed advantage makes it so my work is completely wasted. Why bother training if I'll never have a shot at winning? There's absolutely no need to destroy women's sport like that just to be politically correct.

This kind of anti-competition argument is one of those things that really bothers me about the left.

Then you got suckered.  If we let women and men compete in endurance sports openly and at commensurate levels, females would invariably win out. The conditions of the endurance game, x y and z, favor females, not males.

I put my entire childhood into running...even today with a fucked up leg I;d put money on myself instead of the next random 100 joes because I'll run until and after I puke or shit myself...........but I'm not going to bet on me if I had to race against female olympians because I'd lose even at my best, which I haven't been for 20 years. Mostly, because they'll do the same and they don't have a fucked up leg.

There is no "fixed" male advantage. That shit is a myth. I'd be elated if it weren't, but it is. The "left" for it's part...doesn't seem to be interested in the slightest in that issue...so....?

On another note there's a female dominating female wrestling, just won 2nd state championship, but she is trans and is allowed to take testosterone which clearly gives her an advantage over everyone else.

It goes back to something I harp on a lot.  People are more than happy to sacrifice other people's things.  A lot of the people here clearly don't care about sports, so it costs them nothing to say "Sure, let the trans-women come in, and dominate.  Who cares?"  Because they personally are uninvested.  But like with everything, if they ever find themselves on the wrong side of the unfair stick, they'll be letting everyone know.  

Make a mafia game that gives some people an unfair advantage over some of these people, and my guess is their reaction wouldn't be indifferent acceptance.

I took the longest race mentioned in the link (the Manhattan one) and found that a male currently holds the record for fastest time
