Once Cheeto von Tweeto is imprisoned, he's not the prexy, and will have to rely on Pence or whoever survives that feeding frenzy, to be pardoned. He can't self-pardon. The buffoon actually had the cheek to say that in the end he could pardon himself, if need be, which is agreement that he's broken the law. His whole coterie with the exception of some like Kelly are completely ignorant of the rule of law. My take is that he didn't expect to win, and is acting more and more jackass-like until the show is over, in which he walks out shaking hands with himself over his head like a pro wrestler. I sure hope that the people who voted for him are proud of what they got. It's like they are so focused on "shaking up the government" that they don't see that that very shaking up is biting them in the ass. Either that or they think they are going to get a big piece of the pie if the US dissolves into anarchy. I've actually heard people say that.

At least with Bill it was fun to follow the subtle manipulations of logic and semantics behind his obfuscations.  Trump practices obfuscation by avoidance, topic changing and utter incoherence.  Not much fun in that.

Sam Nunberg, a minor player in all of this, has just stated on MSNBC that he will refuse to comply with the subpoena.

According to the subpoena, which NBC News reports was sent to a witness, special counsel Robert Mueller wants to see emails, text messages, telephone logs and other documents. The demand goes all the way back to November 1, 2015, just a few months after Trump announced his run.

What do you suppose the odds are against this collection of shitheads exercising any kind of discipline in their private communications?  Remember, according to Fire And Fury they did not expect to win so nothing they said mattered.

I just hope it is sooner than later. I understand these things take time, but I do get tired of going on the news to see something talking about how "oh, this bombshell will be the one that puts Trump away". I think he's guilty af, but it can be tiring.
