You're braver than I, Atlas. When cats get too 'passionate' I back off. I respect those teeth and claws.

Found this one of my two wrestling in the garden while I was shooting the garden.

You're braver than I, Atlas.  When cats get too 'passionate' I back off.  I respect those teeth and claws.

Give them some flesh to scratch and chew on Big Grin  I think it's a sign of showing affection when it comes to felines, so you're rejecting their handshake and hugs that way

yeah, mine does that.
But I have noticed one thing. They love your painful response. It's what drives them. It's a superiority thing.

I've been putting up with the serious bites (I have tough skin) and showing no reaction and he backs off pretty quickly as he loses interest.
The wife is a different kettle of fish though. I hear a scream from the lounge room and then I hear the cat flap lift. I shouldn't laugh!

Yep showing pain in reaction to the bite make them happy. It's the beast genetics, they have lion DNA after all. The kitty must love your wife, then.

Nah, mine has no moral conscience or regrets.
