Where's that cute little tongue tip hanging out? Our Prince Charles Cavalier Spaniel mix always has about 1/2" of her tongue sticking out, which we call "blem" tongue. I guess there is a board somewhere on the internet that calls the sassy tongue emoji "blem", because I learned that word from my most internet-savvy son.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Oh, it's there when he's sleeping, always. When he wakes up he has to rehydrate the tip of his tongue.

I should take a picture when she comes over and bangs her chin on my leg, making a demand for a piece of cheese, or, get this, a piece of cracker. She loooves crunchy stuff! I give her pieces of WASA crackers, which have no salt. Lots of fiber, good for the doggie (and me)!

Husband sneaks little bits of food to the dogs all the time. I tend not to, at least not until I am finished eating and am cleaning up. Husband might be okay with three pair of sad eyes watching every bite but I am not. They know staring at him may score a goodie and they creep in closer and closer to make sure he notices them, I suppose.
My middle one could stand to lose a couple pounds but those goodies aren't helping the cause. Zig also thinks it's his job to eat any food left by the other two so I have to be quick when I notice one of the other ones have eaten...'cause I know Zig ate first and is hoping to eat last too.

Yip-yip dogs. Snacks for Clyde.
If you could just put close to his mouth, that would great.

If you could just put close to his mouth, that would great. Our cat, Blue, joins the dogs for morning treats from husband before he (husband) leaves for work. He puts Blue's on the washing machine to keep the dogs from swiping them.
The same routine is played out when husband returns from work and again before husband retires for the night.
I refer to Blue as the fourth dog.
Blue has to exert a bit more effort than Clyde, who can apparently just roll over when he wants his snack. No jumping on appliances required.

He spends a fair amount of time with his feet in the air. And he snores.

Early this morning.

What's all that white stuff? Alum? <Channeling Keith Laumer, in "Earthblood">
We did get about 1/2" of hail here, on Sunday. Fucking cold weather.

Dog cocaine. Winds them up for about an hour, then they crash.
