Liberals do piss him off otherwise why run? Why hold office at all if you didn't think your beliefs and traditions were not being threatened? 

The only way it doesn't upset him is if he is simply pandering to get power and keep it. Between him and 45 he does care. 45 would sell his mother to the Taliban if he thought it would get votes. Pence truly believes the bullshit he is selling.

Yep. 

I agree that one individual wont piss him off, unless they are a top political rival, sure. But collectively the more people that support each other that stand up to his bullshit, I am sure that collectively gives him pause.
