Disgraced as he may be, I give him massive credit for not knuckling under and letting the chump get his way with the 2020 election. I'm hoping that his recalcitrance in this matter reaches the scotus and is rejected, so that he has to testify, anyway. The sad part is the short memory of USians, which may let that fall into the pit of forgetfulness before he actually has to testify. These people have learned that stonewalling tactic from the chump. I'm really hoping for the wheels of justice, while turning slow, turn fine and grind those lumps of feces into grist.

That Pence declined to overturn the election had less to do with some high ideals about the rule of law than it did with his dawning realization that it might very well have landed him in prison - he waited to see which way the wind was blowing before he 'saved the republic'. Fuck Pence.
