How to not attribute evil by misconceptions to the Quran.

How to not attribute evil by misconceptions to the Quran.
I obviously have a lot of misconceptions.

A lot of is due to my sectarian upbringing.

I don't blame hadiths, because, hadiths were always known to be a minefield, full of flowers and good food, but full of destructive mines. And I have not really read that much of them.

How to avoid attributing to Islam and Quran, misconceptions.

I would like members like Rayaan and Atlas to comment, but also willing to hear from non-Muslims, Theists and Atheists a like.

How to avoid this misconception thing where we defend evil but the Quran actually taught no such thing, and we defend it, because we interpret it like that.

I think we need help from the Prophet to interpret correctly and guides, but also, the book has to be referred to, so people don't attribute evil to the book through attributing them lies.

It's a tough process, revelation and maintaining the truth.

Unfortunately, we Muslims have failed to refer our disputes back to God and his Messenger.

We don't care. We agree to disagree and just let ourselves follow wherever the winds take us or whatever idol we choose to hold on to.

Yeah, why don't you ask him.

Try to get the answer in writing so you can show it to all of us.

( P.S. - Don't bother with your silly koran.)

I think the Quran explains how, but I don't act according to it's paradigm.

1. Only speak regarding God the truth.
2. Never attribute him what you don't know.
3. Seek insights, and only follow what you know.
4. Reflect over it's signs and proofs.

But I failed, I defended slavery when I knew for a long time really it had no place in Islam.

I don't know why I did.

In 3:7, it forbids following what is unclear of it. And praises knowledge to and says it's clear signs in those who possess knowledge.

What is unclear is our misconceptions. Otherwise, it says it's a clear book.

The other paradigm, is that Satanic forces recite a sorcery regarding it, and put traps and locks and blow on knots, to keep us away from the truth.

I thought I was doing well. But now I am rethinking, I still might have too much misconceptions.

How are you supposed to defend against the evil of rewriting magic book in your own mind whenever it recommends evil?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Humans wrote the Koran, Old and New Testament. No gods were involved. You can ping new questions inside your skull all you want. You will only receive human thoughts in return. Good luck with that MK!
God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!

You know better than these books. Once you can accept that, you can move on, and stop torturing yourself.

Everything I discover and increase in knowledge, I find better and more eloquently stated in these books.
For example, I didn't know about the moral argument till later in life. But Quran paraphrases it many times and in better more detailed paradigm and context.

That's a phenomenon called "confirmation bias", Mystic.  It's okay, it's common to all of us.  Some of us simply don;t apply it to the existence of pixies. People then take this confirmation bias and apply a thing called an ad hoc rationalization...and thus the snake fully chokes on it's own tail.
