Irresponsible caretakers of Earth

I'd ask for the particular prophecy that you're referring to and that you provide the "exact" (your word) details of how that prophecy has been fulfilled. If it's as exact as you claim then there should be little room for argument or disagreement.

My guess is that it will be a fairly ambiguous prophecy open to many interpretations and malleable enough to fit several circumstances.

The many and varied applications don't make any component obsolete, but just not in the right position. It is like hydrogen which can be attached to nearly every other element, but only one particular combination with oxygen will make water.

With Bible prophecy, every clue is narrowed down by the other clues, until every piece of the puzzle fits exactly where it should.
Some people are able to build a picture from the pieces without any reference to the frame, and although it may have consistencies, it doesn't fit the frame and is false.

There are frames in every prophecy which give the reader an overall picture of how everything should pan out. All the details have to fit into those initial references.
For an example of a frame read Daniel chapter 2.

The first reference is the 6,000 year history of the world, and the Bible is a record of the principles of good and evil as played out in history.
Evolution theory does away with this main frame.
Those actions reveal who or what is behind the scenes, the battle between the two sides. The history of the human race is sufficient evidence of how things will be done in the future, as if history repeats itself.

The intentions of both sides in the battle show what has happened and in part what will happen, and the Bible gives you an idea of who is behind what.

Once patterns of behaviour are understood, it becomes obvious that Satan hates the human race, and uses every deception and device to separate them from God.
That isn't the only consistent factor of prophecy by any means, there are dozens of sets of clues, such as historical dates, colors, words and phrases, progressions, numbers and maths, images, connecting statements, direct references by Jesus and the authors of the various books in the Bible, etc.

As for the irresponsibility of the human race towards the earth, it isn't universal, especially not by the common people, but it points to the rulers, which according to the Bible are in bed with Satan.
How many disasters and wars can be attributed to the moves of the authorities?
Who introduced chemical poisons? Who governs industry? Who demands blood in wars? Who makes the policies of water control and farming?

Environmentalism has two faces, one that's good the other that's destructive. See the number of farmers given false promises and sent broke. As someone said the Greens (political party) are about as red as you can get.
We are supposed to believe that it is good and that we should agree to every move the policies demand. Which serves the purpose of removing freedom through the control of one authority. That authority has one agenda, and that agenda overrules every policy made in government.

According to the Bible, the governments of the world are in bed with the great whore the Papacy, Satan's Christian pretense, and they do her dirty work. She works with deception and ultimately force. Idealism and death. Ideologies and impingements on freedom.

How do you explain the ridiculous decisions made by governments?

Be very certain that starving masses in remote countries, civil and economic strife and wars, are the deeds of men and their organisations led by the nose.

Revelation 18:24, "In her (the Papacy) was found the blood of all that had been slain on the earth." Who is behind the bloodshed? Who is behind strife and disasters?

Revelation 11:18 in the end, God will destroy those who destroy the earth. And that includes those who would remove liberty of conscience, the necessity of peace and prosperity. It is obvious that certain men are in the business of wrecking the earth.

In regards to the current situation of the environment - it is by no means an accident that the weather has gone wild. But because people have been kept in the dark about the real nature of matter and how it works, things done by science in secret are thought to be impossible.
In addition, because of a blanket of errors mixed with facts in strange conspiracy theories, the majority will either reject what is served to them or accept an exaggerated and unsubstantiated idea about certain phenomenon.
But in that mix are snippets of the truth.

Here again the Bible provides the information needed to understand these developments in science - which are not new under the sun.

In post #27 you wrote "The future has been laid out and talked about in detail centuries ago, and those who know it have watched it pan out exactly as predicted".

I don't see anything in this post that addresses the "predictions" (I assume biblical predictions) and "details" or how they pan out exactly. The only biblical quotes that you provide relate to predictions of actions/events that have not yet occurred. Then you go off on a tangent about Satan, the pope, and rulers/ruling governments, chemicals, wars, weather.........

In revelations the "her" referred to is Babylon. To say that it is the Papacy is a far reaching interpretation that I don't agree with. The papacy/catholic church is certainly not responsible for all the blood slain upon earth.

And what is this all about: "But because people have been kept in the dark about the real nature of matter and how it works, things done by science in secret are thought to be impossible." Kept in the dark how? What is the "real nature" of matter and how it works? And what is being done by science in secret?

Do you understand how irrational this makes you sound?

As far as I'm concerned this post is nothing but religious rambling and another dodge of your original claim. It seems to be a mistake on my part to extend to you a chance of having a rational discussion or to expect that you provide support for your claim. I thought it might be worth a shot, but apparently not.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

And you think I wrote all that not knowing your response to be as above?

Jesus said, "he that has will receive more, but he that has not, even that which he has will be taken away."

Someone will read this post and take the small steps in looking up what was recommended, and God will give them ample info, much more than what I have gathered.

Living in fear of god seems like a horrible existence. Talk about your classic love/hate relationships.

Yeah, and fuck you too. Your excuses are just lame justifications for your inability to back your words.

We evolved on this planet, we are its native inhabitants.
We evolved high intelligence. We understand well (for all intents and purposes) what we are doing to our planet.

We know it is the only one we have and we are losing it fast. Why aren't we as a species at critical alert? Right now! Not tomorrow.
What is it about us that we just shrug it off and say "yeah, those clever scientists will fix it one day. Oh look, Spotlight has 40% off storewide, get out of my way!"

We've gone beyond the point of no return. We're all on borrowed time ... too late ... We're all to blame.
From driving cars to buying shit on ebay, to not compromising our god given right to live free in a democracy and scoff the junk food! What's not to love, right!

Unfortunately that lifestyle we all love is incompatible with planet earth. Not only have we blown it, but we are in denial of the severity of the situation.
Why is the world still building coal fired stations, driving cars and trucks, pouring chemicals into rivers and oceans, etc

We are so fucked! On so many levels. Sad
(And Kit feels he should've been born a few thousand years in the future? Kit! What future exactly?)

  rant over.

Do you have independent verification that Jesus actually said that?

Or that he even existed at all?

Contemporary writings seem very hard to find regarding Jesus (read: non-existent).
