The entire position of moral realism asserts precisely this, and doesn't depend on a god.

I don't see how from an Atheistic standpoint, that value can exist then. When you can prove it to be possible, let me know. Telling me about how you guys are empathetic and value humans without belief in God doesn't solve it.
