There are Muslims who accept evolution, you know. There is nothing in your religion that requires you to take the Genesis story so literally. The 'people of the book' have a wonderful metaphor for evolution at their fingertips (God raised humans from dust being a metaphor for evolution from microbes to everything else, including humans), but too many of them would rather reject science rather than try to reconcile it with their religious beliefs.

Alright, if you are confident, why not a set up a one on one debate on this with me?

I don't mind changing my stance if proven wrong.
According to CDF47 you are a pagan heretic worthy of gory death.

According to you CDF47 is a pagan heretic worthy of gory death.

I suggest you fight that out amongst yourselves. I will prepare the popcorn.

Why don't you ask CDF47 his opinion of allah just for shiggles.

Simply because there is nothing to debate and my opponent is not worth debating with . So this attempt at intellectual tough guy has failed you . And no one believes you'll change your stance .

It's like when the people of Pharaoh saw sorcery of sorcerers and then thought no matter what miracles Moses did, it must be of the same thing and not proofs.

They read in text books about evolution of black moths over white moths cause of smoke industrial thing and what not, and can't see design no matter what.

They think giraffe necks getting taller, and then can't see the concept of irreducible complexity of systems in nature.

They won't see this no matter how much you repeat it. If they going to get a AHA moment, it won't be from us, but love of God stirring them to reflect and perceive.

I think you are right, most of them seem not to get it.  I just hope there are one or more that do have that moment where they get it.  Thanks for posting in this thread.  Wasn't sure how many theists were on this forum.

If that's the work of a "designer," I'm not impressed.

There is probably an unknown reason for the detour like all the other fallacy design issues.  Plus, we are intended to be flawed, decay, and die.  That is part of the fall.

Oh man, I wasn't using giraffe necks as proof. I was using it as proof that text books teach simple examples of evolution, like a giraffe neck developing over time to be taller.

And they don't dare to even mention irreducible complexity of systems and make us think how to solve those issues. And it's obvious why. There is no solution to irreducible complexity.

It proves design in many respects because of a paradox.

Yes, it definitely does.

You figure 'there is probably an unknown reason' is a sensible response? How do you know there's 'probably' a good reason? You even covered your ass with the fallen world excuse.

That would be good.  They can't prove you wrong since there is functional digital information in DNA and they know it.

What is a one-on-one debate supposed to accomplish? Have you been saving up evidence that you won't talk about on open forum?

Easy. A one-on-one debate is simply a facile attempt to whittle the opposition down. It is a tacit acknowledgement that his argument is so weak that his "truth" is so weak that it cannot stand any critical examination.

It is a common apologist tactic.

No it would not .As there is nothing you knobs could say in debate that you have not already said on this forum already . Your whole case is built on fallacies and lies as has been exposed . So there is nothing to debate or disprove . You have no rational case the requires either .

Let's get one thing very, very clear here.  As far as I'm concerned, "the fall" is 100% mythology and explains nothing at all.
