I wonder if our OP believes that sperm have immortal souls? An afterlife for good sperm as well as the bad? After all, the gate is narrow.

Not quite that narrow.  There have been 108 billion people that ever lived approximately (https://www.prb.org/howmanypeoplehaveeverlivedonearth/).  Those are the lives I believe are counted.

Yet, sperm move, have intentionality, sense gravity (and swim against it); even understand when they cannot penetrate the egg.  Why do I have a soul and sperm do not?
