Did you ever consider that perhaps we are supposed to observe our environment and gain an understanding of it that way?

I am not certain how our souls are inhabiting our bodies. That is just a guess. Another guess would be that our brain is receiving our consciousness like a radio receives a signal that is being broadcast over a long distance. I actually believe both are true in a way, but it is just a belief.

In any event, yes fruit flies and all conscious life also have a soul. One of the important things about microtubules being involved in consciousness is that the current guess from science is that the brain produces consciousness. The paramecium though, does not even have a brain, but does indeed appear to be conscious. And it has microtubules that could be acting as a receiver....
