We overcame the effects of "sin" seen as gods action taken a loooong time ago. God cursed adam to be a farmer and eve to horrific childbirth. Not a whole lot of farmers these days, and horrific childbirth is the exception to the norm.
Gods bad at curses. IDK why we'd expect him to be any better at them, though, given the state of his "designs". Poor fucker can't get anything right, according to magic book. If you step back to appreciate the narrative, the god these imbeciles worship is a pretty tragic figure.
I read the Bible and the Lord of the Bible is loving, merciful, and very forgiving. He also has a wrath though and He punishes sin. He hates sin and unrighteousness. He hates arrogance and a number of other things which you probably already know. You know what is right and wrong because God designed you to know just like dogs naturally know certain things or any other animal. Plus, He gave us His Word in the Scriptures to know right from wrong.

Sure, you read magic book, that's why you had to keep asking an atheist what was in magic book.
I don't actually care what your silly god hates, and neither do you. If god designed you to know things, things like the difference between right and wrong, or between things that are right and are wrong as factual matters..then your participation on these boards indicates that you need service. You're malfunctioning.

I don't know. Maybe I did over do it. Just trying to discuss my favorite topic to discuss with non-believers. I discuss these things with believers as well. I did come to discuss DNA but there are religious implications to this thread. It is difficult not to talk about the Creator. There is also a sense of evangelizing I agree. Since I strongly believe in my faith I may push to hard on the evangelizing to atheists.

I asked for your interpretation of the Holy Scriptures. I did not ask what was in the Scriptures or intend to ask what was in the Scriptures.
I do care about what God hates because I find that I hate the same thoughts, words, and actions of myself and others that He hates. I see a very immoral society here. The type of society destroyed at Sodom and Gomorrah or destroyed by the flood. I believe the Commandments of God are written on the hearts of true believers. He really wants us to love God and neighbor and even our enemies.

If there were fishable souls in this thread, you certainly picked the wrong lure. It's not clear how bullshitting people about genetics and the id movement would work, really.

It is not about ID. It is about the extremely complex and functional code inside of DNA. That's what the thread is about. It is also about the fine-tuning of the universe.
