IMO the woman was just being a bitch hoping to get something to whine about.  I wonder how many times she has staked out the bakery in order to get the perfect situation?

Would the boss pay overtime if people keep coming in after the posted closing time?  The other customers were already in the store before the posted closing time.  The whiner came in after the posted closing time.  

There are countless situations where you are out of luck if you miss the deadline.  I hope the fired people are nice otherwise they might pop a cap on her ass.

The story describes her as a "local activist" so she has the motive for doing what she did.  How else could she be an activist unless she has something to be active about?  It's just a con job that she was able to pull off.  The advice to all other businesses in the area is to immediately lock their doors at closing time.
