Theists, please describe how you experience your god

Because I don't know a color for void, I picture a blank space extending to infinity.

It's impossible to assign gender to something like that; it is just not valid. I also believe that assigning a body to him is quite not valid also.

I refer to "him" using "him", because language dictates it. Gender is below him though; he created both male and female genders, and created what we don't know.

I didn't hear any voices or had any experiences. I can feel his presence though, through meanings -stuff like karma-.

Another way to explain "void" is non existent, empty space. So in a way you know and admit there is nothing there.

Nothing that "I can see or feel"; my point is that it is possible for something to exist out of our detecting senses.

Good luck, however, demonstrating any particular object or instance of that. To be blunt, anything "beyond our detecting senses" is fundamentally beyond our ability to demonstrate. So..if you think both that there are things beyond our detecting senses -and- that you have proof of just such a thing..I can conclusively use my detecting senses to demonstrably establish that you must be wrong about one of those two propositions.

They cannot be simultaneously true..you have to pick one and stick with it. It can;t be undetectable whenever you;re called to task..and detected whenever you find it convenient.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

We see God, we are told it's hallucination, we point proofs to him, and people want to see him come down to them or demand irrational type acts from God. We show the way forward to seeing, they turn away from the path, not even giving it a try.

Allergic to any spiritual effort, they take their blindness as proof God doesn't exist.

Yes, we know..all of your own failures are always someone else;s fault.

What failure, your refusal is your failure, I've proven God many times.

OFC you have, lol. It;s just that the entire world is demon possessed and engaged in a massive satanic conspiracy. That;s the only possible explanation for the failure of your brilliance to shine through.   Rolleyes

*we?

You mean "YOU".
I don't share your opinion. I don't "see" God and I never said that.

Exactly. That's why we have the design to conclude God from it.
We can't realize the full scale of God or demonstrate it:

Quote:https://quran.com/19/65?translations=20

Sura 19, The Quran:

Sahih International

(65) Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them - so worship Him and have patience for His worship. Do you know of any similarity to Him?"

Nothing is like God:

Quote:https://quran.com/42/11?translations=19

Sura 42, The Quran:

Sahih International

(11) [He is] Creator of the heavens and the earth. He has made for you from yourselves, mates, and among the cattle, mates; He multiplies you thereby. There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing.

Demonstrating God is not valid, that's why Muslims never draw God or use pictures of him. That's "Anthropomorphism", and it's highly forbidden in Islam.

Probably because for most religious practitioners it actually takes a lot of time and effort to summon up tangible sensory experiences and the recipient probably wants them.

Many people with (for want of a better term) abnormal psychology often claim that it's just a different way of being. There's never a single cut off point where you either have or don't have a particularly psychological condition. Brains are grown and therefore each one is different. Some are on the extreme end of a bell curve and maybe those with such sensory religious experiences  aren't so extreme that their psychological make-up is considered problematic because they can still function in society.

Found this:

The concept of schizophrenia is coming to an end – here’s why

Quote:Just as we now have the concept of autism spectrum disorder, psychosis (typically characterised by distressing hallucinations, delusions, and confused thoughts) is also argued to exist along a continuum and in degrees. Schizophrenia is the severe end of a spectrum or continuum of experiences.

Relevant paper here:

The slow death of the concept of schizophrenia and the painful birth of the psychosis spectrum.

Could it be that the theists who think that they can actually see, hear and touch their god actually be on the psychosis spectrum?

As someone who's been diagnosed with schizophrenia a couple of times myself, this is very interesting news. Hopefully this time they correctly define all theists as being on the psychosis spectrum.

I'm not so much concerned with your belief, it's your obsessive fixation. If AF is any indication it appears to be taking over your life in an unhealthy way.

But I'm sure that you will deny this. I can almost hear it now, "How can god be unhealthy?".
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

That makes god detectable, then.  Like I said...I knew one of those two propositions had to be false.

Now that you've declared god to be detectable..you've made god falsifiable, and in offering up "the design" as the example...you've falsified him. Maybe it;s time for him to engage his romulan cloak again?
