Boy, is that ever a lesson I learned with the unfathomable election of Trump.

The OP question is an unsolvable puzzle, unless you at least attempt to immerse yourself into the politics of white fright.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I see this sort of speculation stated a lot among liberals. They were sure that Trump was a mistake from the beginning and now they're sure that is only a matter of time until those who voted for him figure out that they made a mistake and regret what they did. I can totally understand that line of thinking. Especially if you live somewhere that is populated mostly by liberals. The perception being this is how I feel, this is how everyone I know feels, therefore it must be how everyone feels.

Things are different when you live among conservatives. There is no one I've met in this area that regrets voting for him. Even a little. They loved him when they voted for him. They still love him now. They love him more when tweets like a petulant 12 year old, they love him more when insults leaders of other countries, and they will likely love him when they show up in droves to vote for him again. And they are absolutely going to show up in droves to vote for him again.

Do not allow yourself to believe its only a matter of time until they see the error of their ways. They love this guy and they're going to continue to love this guy. The liberal bias media sources will scour the nation to find individuals who are directly impacted by some broken promise he made and therefore now regret voting for him. The media is doing this because they know that those are the people liberals want to see. But those individuals are few and far between and don't even begin to represent the group as a whole. The media features them because you have to give the people what they want or they're not going to watch. And that ends up feeding the narrative that we all want to believe which is that those who voted for Trump now see what liar he is and regret voting for him. But that's just not reality. The vast majority that voted for him love him even more now than they did two years ago. And thinking anything other than that is what is going to help get him elected into a second term.

There are many people that are too blinded by partisanship to analyse the president objectively. Most seem to want to be contrarians above all else. Goes for his supporters and haters.
