Hello ma'am, God loves you. Put a dollar in the box of Gods love, all proceeds go to charity. That's right ma'am, he'll cure all your woes, just another dollar now....

Holy crap! It's Aroura! Yay!!

The point is that if the mob thought that witches were real the person getting roasted should have let out a string of curses upon the crowd.  That would have messed with their minds.  It's what Jesus did.  And because Jesus did it people 2,000 years later think that they are going to hell.
Ironic trolling isn;t something that commonly occurs to the minds of people being roasted alive, and jesus never said shit.  Not that it would have stopped anything..because in rare cases that did happen..and perhaps betraying the fiction that anyone really believed they were burning a witch...they persisted.

The real reason for the majority of these proceedings was a simple case of a property grab.  The actors involved knew it, so did the victims, so did the church.

You do know the bible says wicked is the man who cares for others before he cares for his family first. meaning we are directly instructed to not give what we do not have. that we must first take care of our family.

If one give when they can not support themselves it is not God's fault.

What about that, "give and it shall be given you 10-fold" stuff?  Is God not keeping His "word"?

To hell with all that selling all your possessions and giving to the poor business.  Buddy jesus hasn;t been keeping the boot on people necks firmly enough.

I never said it was Gods fault. I said those people are roadside hucksters scamming people out of their money. Not a thing to do with your Diety except that they feed off the religiously vulnerable.

Learn some reading comprehension Drich. Otherwise don't bother responding to my posts, since you are clearly only responding to your own internal dialog and not what I actually wrote.

Kthxbye.
