Religion in itself is something I have a huge issue with. Mostly for this reason. I could be wrong here, but my theory is that religion was built as a way to control large amounts of people. Did you know only priests were only allowed to read the bible during the medieval times? They were afraid that people would see parts of the bible that they didn't want them to see. Then you have the entire thing where they were changing the bible multiple times in order to fit a particular political/personal agenda. I mean, for all we know the bible that exists today could be nowhere near the original thing. Sorry to go off topic here...
Because it wouldn’t be worth the efforts of the hucksters who created them if it didn’t enable these hucksters to control people with them.
