Why are the Abraham religions so interested in controlling people sexually

Seems this is one of the most common things Abrahamic religions like to restrict. But, why? I grew up Mormon, and all I can say is that it's very restrictive when it comes to this sort of thing. Like the whole Anti-Porn thing. I remember growing up being taught how evil porn apparently way. The typical talking points like "it's evil" or "it will destroy your life".  If you want to at least try to go without watching porn than go for it. However, anyone who says they have never done that is lying. I remember when I was 14 I my Dad walked in one me jerking off. It was morning and I did not lock my door [really stupid move]. But I remember how much I was shamed for it. My parents acted like I just murdered people. My Dad forced me to go talk to my bishop about it and what not. However, at that age I fell for the lie that religion sells you. You know, the one where you will go to hell if you don't "obey God" or some shit like that. I honestly think when you suppress someone in some fields such as sexual exploration there is a likelihood that person is going to be more fucked up.

I am honestly just glad I am agnostic turning atheist and not some religious person anymore. Well, I mostly just like to sleep in on Sundays. lol

However, it sort of sucks because right now I am home from school for the Summer. I have my computer in my bedroom [I know it's a fucking miracle I can do that] but if I close my door during the day my parents will all of the sudden be "concerned" that I'm doing something "bad". lol Maybe I just want some privacy? I am 23 after all, so I'm pretty sure I can look out for myself. 

It will be nice when I graduate in a year and officially move out. [I sort of have already, but not fully]

Hell, I never understood why in the Mormon faith they restrict things like alcohol. I mean, I don't love it or anything, but God damn, I do like a 24 ounce of Corona on a Friday night.

I think they were just interested in controlling people in general. Sexuality is a great way to do that.

I was actually thinking about this while watching Doctor Who last night (a more scholarly sentence has never been uttered). The Romans in the episode were talking openly about being a lesbian being "restricted," given that it was "normal" for them to be bisexual. I wondered when civilization stopped being that way, and I can only assume it was with the advent of the Abrahamic religions. I can't think of any other civilizations off the top of my head that both leaned that way and had enough influence to alter our sexuality trajectory, so to speak.

Theists attempt to control in others what they personally despise about themselves. Theists personally feel dirty and guilty for being humanly sexual, and thus they use god as a scapegoat to control others.

Well, it's because atheists have big dicks. Religion wants to make this a secret because religious folks have small dicks and don't want anyone to know. Since they are extremely insecure folks and atheists have big dicks and extremely secure in themselves religious folks want to restrict sexuality in the hopes of noone ever finding out their dick size.
That's the whole issue in a nutshell but if we go deeper other issues like insecurity in the amount of pubic hair, ball size etc comes up
