Long time Democrat Representative, Joe Crowley, just lost to a far left newcomer tonight in New York primaries. Seems like there's a revolt happening within the democrat party.

People tend to vote their pocket book, so despite all the controversies, I think there's good reason to expect Republicans to do well in the coming election cycle. Regardless of the cause, the economy is doing fairly well, and that will likely be the decisive factor. However, I don't think the Republicans have made things as easy for themselves as it could have been. There have been a lot of screw ups and congress has been basically unable to get anything done since Trump took office. That and a likely increase in participation by Democrat voters will make things closer than they could have been.

The Red Hen Restaurant should focus more on cleaning its filthy canopies, doors and windows (badly needs a paint job) rather than refusing to serve a fine person like Sarah Huckabee Sanders. I always had a rule, if a restaurant is dirty on the outside, it is dirty on the inside!
