This.  I also use drip irrigation / soakers (except where I don't), and I water whenever I think the soil needs a soak.

One of my sons works for a retail giant hardware store. A gal came in with a plant she wanted to return "Because it was dead"- the leaves were all dry and not very flexible. Yup, it was plastic, and it even said so on the container. Rolleyes
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
