My wife is the same. She is threatening to say "I told you so" when we meet up in the "spirit realm" after I die.

She seems to be planning on going first.

When we met she was an evangelical Christian.

In the meantime her mum started going to spiritualist churches and dating a spiritualist man.

She took the wife along and she was hooked. She started going more and more often sometimes even standing in front of the church and "channelling spirit" she is, she thinks,  a medium. Although I think of her more as a "large". (that joke never grows old).

She has detailed her beliefs to me but has now stopped because at no point did she come close to making me think that her dearest held beliefs are in anyway likely.

In fact I think that they are awful. 

She believes that you choose your life as a learning experience for the spirit realm, which I think could be misused by an evil person to excuse any cruelty they do. 
The idea goes like this.
You know how your life will pan out before you come here so anything that the evil person does to you is your fault because you chose that experience.

My wife just sees the rosey side and why not and I have not disabused her of it. 


She isn't harming anyone or forcing anyone else to believe or act how she thinks they should.
